Tips to Prepare for Interior Painting

If you’ve been keeping up with our blog and read our previous installment, maybe you are considering having us paint the inside of your home this winter. There are many steps and decisions to make in the planning process of painting your home such as choosing the right paint, selecting a finish, selecting your tools and many more. There are a few things you can do to prepare, though. Here are some things you can do.

  1. Take time to ensure the surfaces to be painted are cleaned with soap and water and dried overnight.

  2. Clean your ceilings as to not have any dust or cobwebs interfere with the paint once it’s already too late.

  3. Fix holes with spackle using a five-in-one tool.
